Dolly has had it.
Mere inches away from the life she’s always dreamed of, everything comes tumbling down when an unexpected accident derails all her well-laid plans. Broken and furious, she decides that enough is enough and turns her sights on vigilante justice.
With her adorable rescue pup at her side, her BFF wondering wtf is up with her lately, and a celebrity love interest making things more complicated, readers will find themselves gasping (and potentially gagging) as she performs her most heinous acts, but also, if they’re being really honest, they’ll think…
I mean, it might not be nice, but they had it coming.
In a world filled with big, real problems, let’s have a little fun. I want to know all of your petty little grievances.
Share them with me and I'll provide you with a completely non-expert opinion on the appropriate consequence.
Tell me your petty grievances.
get it off your chest, babe
And I'll come up with an appropriate consequence. Once a month, the verdicts (and other wee updates) will be delivered to your inbox, for as long as people keep behaving badly. So, forever.
But you can totally unsubscribe. We're friends like that.
People who let the door slam in your face.
You get to walk into them at full stride. If they get mad, you reply with: “Oh, so sorry. I assumed, since you didn’t see me back there and let the door slam in my face, that I am a ghost and hence I thought I’d be able to just walk right through you. My bad.”
Hello, I’m Carly.
Born, raised, and growing old in Toronto, I’ve been a mum since I was sixteen and have two sons who were born eighteen years apart, almost to the day. I also have a husband. He is very smart and very stubborn. When he is at his most irritating I ask him sweetly to make me pesto, and he does, and so we are happy. I also have a bulldog named Clover. She is also very stubborn. Her cooking is abhorrent.
When I’m not managing my circus, or writing, or running Main Character Energy, you’ll find me grumbling darkly as I force myself to go for jogs or making enormous feasts for large groups of friends and family. I love to giggle around a table and entertain but please leave by 10 p.m. because I am very tired.
